The Institute for Genomics & Systems Biology (IGBS) at the University of Chicago invites faculty, staff and students to participate in a special seminar in high-throughput cellular screening. The Presentation will include an overview of the IGSB/CBC Cellular Screening Center (CSC) (http://www.igsb.anl.gov/services/index.php?p=csc). Through the use of automation and robotics, CSC is capable of screening more than 250,000 fluorescent or luminescent reactions for cellular or enzymatic activities daily, and testing gene function via RNAi screening of the entire human genome three times in a single day!
